Summary of activities

Dr. Fawole is a Lecturer at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and Honorary Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. He sub-specialises in Perinatal Medicine. He is particularly interested in the application of evidence-based research findings to optimize maternal and perinatal outcomes. He seeks opportunities to generate reliable evidence through collaboration in international randomized trials in high priority reproductive health issues and synthesis of research findings in systematic reviews produced by the Cochrane Collaboration.

He is a WHO Master Trainer in Evidence-based Reproductive Health Care. He is involved in scaling up utilization of evidence-based practice in Africa through teaching of evidence-based healthcare to diverse groups of health care professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Fawole is active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. At postgraduate level, he currently supervises two courses. He also supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate research.
