Training Activities

AS A MASTER TRAINER ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ISSUES

v Has been involved with the training of various categories of reproductive health care professionals in provision of clinical services especially in Family Planning Services.

v  Conducted training workshop to strengthen the communication and counselling skills of Clinical Service Providers (CSPs) to provide quality reproductive health information and Services that will enhance clients’ ability to make informed decisions in an unbiased environment in Oyo State 7^th to 12^th December 2003.

v  Conducted ARV management training workshop for doctors, pharmacists and nurses/midwives PMTCT and ARV management, supported by Prevent AIDS Society (PAS) in Ekiti State 10^th to 17^th December 2004.

v  Conducted Strategic leadership and management skills for population and reproductive health of policy makers and reproductive health programme managers (UNFPA Programme Advisors) at state level. 17^th to 28^th January 2005.

v  Facilitated UNFPA sponsored Expanded Life Saving Skills Initiative (ELSSI) Training Programme, Kebbi State. 5^th to 24^th June 2005.

v  Facilitated Expanded Life Saving Skills Initiative (ELSSI) Training Programme, for Medical Officers of Health from Ekiti State. 4^th to 22^nd July 2005.

v  Facilitated UNICEF sponsored sensitization meeting on Strategic Leadership and Management in Health System for Medical Officers of Health and Policy Makers from the UNICEF Health B-Zone. Ibadan. 5^th to 8^th July 2005.

v  Facilitated UNICEF sponsored Training Programme on Strategic Leadership and Management in Health System for B-Zone Field Office - Women and Children Friendly Hospital Scheme Committee members.  Ibadan. 15^th to 20^th August 2005.

v  Facilitated UNFPA sponsored Expanded Life Saving Skills (ELSS) Training Programme, for Medical Officers of Health from Katsina State. Katsina. November 2007.

v  Facilitated UNFPA sponsored Strategic Leadership Management and Advocacy Training for Service Providers, Health Management Board, Ministry of Health Sokoto State, Sokoto. 2^nd to 7^th December 2007.

v  Facilitated UNFPA and Rivers State sponsored Update Training on Emergency Obstetric Care for TOT (Midwives) in Live Saving Skills. Port Harcourt. 17^th to 21^st March 2008

v  Facilitated CPRH sponsored Training Programme on Strategic Leadership and Adolescent Health for participants at the International Youth Conference.  Abuja. 1^st to 3^rd May 2008.
