DETAILS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE AT UNIVERSITY LEVEL

(a)   Undergraduate level. I have given about 67 gynaecological and obstetric

Sessions are preceded by distribution of lecture handouts about 48 hours before each lecture. The interactive sessions involve discussion of learning guides and use of overhead projections including videos and clinical demonstrations. I take part regularly in the assessment of students during the mid posting, end of posting and final examinations.

(b) Postgraduate level.

(i) I have had interactive sessions with students of Masters programmes using group presentations as effective modes of teaching. The seven topics are under: OBG 712 Reproductive tract oncology.

In addition, I have supervised the designing, execution and writing up of students’ dissertation and other modes of assessment.

(ii) Internal – external examiner for Master of Public Health programme since 2004.

(iii) Host country supervisor of dissertation projects of Masters’ students of the School of Tropical Medicine, University of Liverpool, England since 2007.

(iv) Perioperative Nursing students

I give lectures and set examination questions for students of the Perioperative Nursing course at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
